FAQ

Quick answers before you book.

What exactly is a transaction coordinator?

A transaction coordinator manages paperwork and communication between the parties in a real estate transaction, including agents, buyers, sellers, lawyers, and brokerages. The role helps agents stay compliant, track contract deadlines, and keep everyone informed through closing.

How much are your services?

Services start at $199 + HST. Book a quick phone or video call to talk through your business, goals, and the right service fit.

Do I still have to pay if the transaction cancels?

No full-service fee is charged on a cancelled transaction. A cancellation fee may apply. We only get paid for full-service transactions if you do.

How do I pay and when is payment due?

Clients are invoiced at the end of every month. Payment options include e-transfer to closewithkp@gmail.com.

What are your working hours?

Our working hours are Monday - Friday 9am - 9pm.

What provinces do you serve?

Close with KP currently serves Ontario transactions using OREA forms and processes.

What is the benefit of hiring an independent VTC over an in-house TC or assistant?

Hiring an independent VTC helps agents avoid permanent employee overhead, especially during slower seasons. Agents get experienced file support without adding payroll pressure.

Why should I not handle the transaction myself?

A VTC can save significant time per transaction and helps reduce errors by reviewing paperwork, deadlines, and file requirements carefully.

How will I know what is going on with my transaction?

During onboarding, Close with KP confirms communication preferences. Agents can choose to be copied on every email or receive updates only when needed. Either way, regular updates are sent so agents know where files stand.
